On behalf of the Officers and membership of the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association, we would like to extend to you an invitation to participate in the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association. The 2019 Annual Meeting will begin on Thursday, September 19th and conclude at noon on Sunday, September 22nd. The Exhibit Hall will be open on Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st. The meeting will once again be held at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs which is located just off I-65 south of Nashville. The address of the hotel is 700 Cool Springs Blvd., Franklin, Tennessee 37067. It is located just off I-65’s exit number 68A. The telephone number of the Hotel is 615.261.6100.

Meeting will include Physician and Medical Assistant CME Programs.

Based on average attendance over the past 5 years, we are expecting 165 physicians to attend this year’s meeting. We once again have excellent education programs planned for both Podiatrists and their Medical Assistants. The Physician program features nationally known lecturers. In addition, the assistants’ program includes courses which meet state Board requirements for certification in x-ray safety as well as an excellent practice management track. We expect at least 150 assistants to attend this year’s meeting. The online exhibit contract form can be found here or a printed version can be found in the right sidebar of this page, along with an application to participate in the TPMA Cadaver Lab/Workshop program. Companies registered for the Cadaver Lab/Workshop program will be provided one exhibit booth at no additional cost. The exhibit contract contains the exhibit schedule as well as the TPMA Tax ID number. You will be able to download final programs for both Physicians and assistants from the TPMA web site within the next week at tnpma.org. Exhibit Space

The meeting schedule provides for exhibits to be set up on Friday, September 20th between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs’ Ballroom. Exhibit hours on Friday will be from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday’s exhibit hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All CME programs will include designated breaks in the exhibit hall at certain times. While we will continue the traditional grand opening reception in the exhibit hall on Friday evening, we have also scheduled lunch on Saturday in the exhibit hall for physicians, assistants, and exhibitors. We believe that the reception on Friday evening, scheduled exhibit hall breaks, as well as the luncheon in the exhibit hall on Saturday will make the 2019 TPMA Annual Meeting one of the best exhibit venues for any Podiatry meeting in the country. The exhibit fee is $1,250 per booth. Each booth will include side and back drapes, a table, two chairs, electricity (if requested) and sign. Please provide your email address on the contract so that we can communicate with the appropriate person regarding your company’s exhibit. The exhibits will be located adjacent to the CME lecture hall in order to maximize exposure. If your exhibit requires more than the tabletop exhibit space, the TPMA staff will work with you in making sure your space needs are met. Exhibitors shall arrange directly with the Freeman Company, at their own expense, for any booth furniture, displays, or equipment, over and above what is provided for in the exhibit contract. Freeman’s coordinator for this event can be contacted at 615-391-5522. Please note that the TPMA Tax ID number is provided on the contract. In addition, each exhibitor will receive the names and addresses of every physician registered for the meeting. Zip drives containing this information will be available upon request.

Cadaver Lab/Workshop Program

TPMA will be offering a Cadaver Lab/Workshop program at this year’s meeting on Thursday, September 19th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The registration fee for this program is $3,500.00 and includes an exhibit booth on Friday and Saturday at no additional cost. We plan to limit the Cadaver Lab/Workshop program to six companies. Registrations will be accepted by date of receipt of the completed application because of limitations on meeting space. During last year’s meeting more than 90 podiatrists participated in this program where the physician can rotate through each Lab/Workshop. Immediately following this program will be PICA’s risk management program which always generates much interest from the membership. Event Sponsorship & Unrestricted Educational Grants

There are a number of special events in the meeting schedule which require corporate sponsorships. There are four breakfast events, three luncheons, and two receptions available for sponsorships. Full or partial sponsorships are available for any of these events. Companies sponsoring events during the TPMA Annual Meeting will be recognized throughout the annual meeting. Sponsoring companies will also be recognized with signage for the event and will be identified in the official TPMA program. TPMA’s 2019 CME program consists of lectures by nationally known speakers and unrestricted educational grant opportunities exist to support this CE activity. Those companies providing unrestricted educational grants will be recognized throughout the annual meeting.  Sponsoring companies will also be provided with appropriate signage for the lecture as well as recognition in the official TPMA program. Exhibit Hall Door Prize Donations

While most of the exhibit prizes will be provided by TPMA, exhibitors are also encouraged to donate door prizes. Companies making such donations will be recognized at the time of the drawing and will be listed in the official program if we are notified of the donation prior to September 1, 2018. HOTEL ROOM RESERVATIONS

Hotel room reservations MUST BE MADE FOR THE TPMA ROOM BLOCK BY August 15, 2019. After that date, any unused rooms in the TPMA Room block will only be available at a higher rate. In addition, our meeting has been growing each year and we have exceeded the room block prior to the release date during the past two years. In order to make certain that you can reserve under the TPMA room block, we would suggest you call the hotel at 615.261.6100 or 888.403.6772 and make your reservation(s) as soon as possible.
